Full Stack Developer, AI-Focused

Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Hybrid, onsite 3 days per week
Clearance Required: Active Secret
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a cleared Full Stack Developer to support a federal IT program in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with experience across Microsoft technologies, modern web development, Power Platform, and general AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full stack applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, React, Node.js, REST APIs, and SQL
  • Build React-based user interfaces and integrate them with backend APIs and services
  • Support Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similar tools
  • Support SharePoint-backed systems, including maintenance, enhancements, and modernization
  • Troubleshoot, debug, test, and support applications across frontend and backend layers
  • Assist with deployments and releases in a CI/CD environment
  • Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and stakeholders in a federal environment

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years of full stack software development experience
  • Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and/or ASP.NET Core
  • Strong React experience, including hooks, component design, state management, and responsive UI development
  • Experience with Node.js, REST APIs, MS SQL, Entity Framework, and Git
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and/or Dataverse
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneDrive
  • General exposure to AI-assisted development tools or AI-related technologies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and application deployment workflows
  • Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC 3 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, Hugging Face, or other AI/LLM APIs
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, Azure cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, or Section 508 standards
  • Experience supporting or modernizing SharePoint environments
