ABOUT THIS JOB

Weโ€™re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Go Software Engineer to join our innovative technology team at Trend Capital. In this role, youโ€™ll play a pivotal role in making platforms highly usable and thoroughly enjoyable for our clients and partners. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • 3+ years of experience with Golang.

  • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/Typescript.

  • 2+ years of experience developing REST-like APIs.

  • Advanced Go(lang) experience, including string manipulation, concurrency, synchronization, generics, reflections, performance optimization, and profiling.

  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) with a solid understanding of compound indexes, constraints, transaction costs, query optimization, and transaction isolation.

  • Familiarity with Clickhouse or similar column-oriented databases.

  • Experience using and developing HTTP/TLS, REST-like APIs, WebSockets, headers, status codes, defaults, and timeouts.

  • Ability to read vague specifications.

  • Knowledge and comfortability with Git workflows.

  • Strong problem-solving methodology.

  • Ownership of production quality.

  • Must be able to speak and write fluent English.


PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Frontend experience with modern JS/Typescript frameworks (React).

  • GORM.

  • MacOS as a dev environment.

  • GNU/Linux experience (Debian-based especially).

  • Docker & virtualization.

  • CI/CD workflows and tools.

  • Built and deployed production-grade services.

  • Worked with real database performance problems.
