Vidoori is a digital transformation leader recognised for delivering excellence in cloud and software solutions. As we expand our engineering and product capabilities, we are seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer (Mid Level) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver user‑facing features and scalable backend services, contribute to architecture and platform decisions, and collaborate across product, design and operations within an inclusive environment that values continuous learning and practical innovation.

Role Overview – Full Stack Developer

Reporting to senior engineering leadership, the Full Stack Developer will work on end‑to‑end feature delivery, from requirements and frontend implementation to backend services and deployment. The role combines hands‑on development with collaboration across cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, performant and maintainable solutions. You will work closely with product managers, designers and platform engineers to ship user value, improve developer experience and support production systems.

Key Responsibilities – Design, Build and Operate
  • Design, implement and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using established patterns and best practices to meet functional and non‑functional requirements.

  • Develop responsive, accessible frontend interfaces and components using modern JavaScript frameworks and component libraries to deliver a polished user experience.

  • Collaborate in grooming, estimation and planning sessions to translate product needs into technical solutions and incremental delivery plans.

  • Write automated tests, participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality and repeatable delivery.

  • Work with platform and DevOps teams to containerise applications, configure deployments and apply observability, logging and metrics for production support.

  • Help identify and remediate performance, reliability and security issues; apply secure coding practices and follow organisation security guidance.

  • Produce clear technical documentation, runbooks and implementation notes to enable peer onboarding and operational readiness.

  • Mentor more junior engineers, share knowledge within the team and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.

Essential Skills and Experience – Full Stack Development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven experience (typically 2–5 years) building web applications with both frontend and backend responsibilities in a professional environment.

  • Strong programming skills in one or more backend languages (e.g., Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, C#) and experience producing maintainable, well‑tested code.

  • Practical experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and an understanding of component design, state management and accessibility.

  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful or GraphQL APIs and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) for application deployment and operations.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (unit, integration) and tools for build and release automation.

  • Good understanding of web security fundamentals (authentication, authorisation, input validation, secure storage of secrets) and privacy‑aware development.

  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and the ability to explain technical trade‑offs to product and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills – Extended Capability
  • Experience with serverless architectures and event‑driven systems or experience implementing streaming/data pipelines.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and policy‑as‑code patterns.

  • Knowledge of performance profiling, caching strategies and optimisation for web and API performance.

  • Contributions to open source projects, developer tooling or public technical writing are advantageous.

Benefits and Career Development – Growth at Vidoori
  • Competitive base salary with performance‑related bonus and incentives linked to delivery and technical outcomes.

  • Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options to support a healthy work–life balance.

  • Supportive and inclusive culture with investment in professional development, training and mentorship opportunities.

  • Opportunity to influence product architecture, adopt emerging technologies and progress into senior engineering or technical leadership roles.

  • Work on impactful projects across public sector and commercial clients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
