Senior Full Stack Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and enhance digital experiences that make it easier for members to access healthcare providers, understand their benefits and coverage, manage plans, and engage with personalized services.
This role will contribute across the full technology stack, including web and mobile applications, APIs, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and data integrations. The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on engineer who can work independently, navigate evolving requirements, and partner effectively with product, architecture, and engineering teams.
You will have the opportunity to work on modern digital platforms supporting personalized member experiences, including capabilities such as appointment reminders, member communications, provider search, benefits and coverage experiences, and other omnichannel digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and services.
  • Contribute to all layers of the technology stack, including frontend, backend, APIs, databases, integrations, and cloud environments.
  • Build and enhance highly scalable web applications and mobile experiences used by members.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and backend services that support digital and omnichannel experiences.
  • Partner with product managers, UX teams, architects, data teams, and other engineers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Participate in technical architecture and solution design discussions.
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and secure code while following modern engineering practices.
  • Review pull requests and provide constructive technical feedback.
  • Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and drive problems through resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, automation, application performance, and developer productivity.
  • Mentor and support other engineers while contributing to a collaborative engineering culture.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate new frameworks, tools, and approaches where appropriate.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development and code-generation tools to improve engineering productivity and solution delivery.

  • 8+ years of progressive software engineering experience, preferably within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing full-stack applications and services.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, with .NET/C# or Java/Spring Boot highly valued.
  • Experience developing scalable web applications using technologies such as Vue.js, React, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with RESTful web services, APIs, JSON, and client-server architecture.
  • Experience with Azure or another major cloud provider.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or AKS.
  • Understanding of solution architecture, scalable application design, and backend architecture.
  • Ability to work independently with incomplete or evolving requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with mobile application development, particularly React Native, is a plus.
  • Experience with AI/agentic AI or AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, or personalization technologies is a plus.
