Role: Sr. Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA / NYC, NY (Onsite/Hybrid-3 days in a week)

Duration: Long-term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java-based backend development, microservices architecture, and financial domain exposure (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, Kafka

·        Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices

·        Work with distributed systems and ensure scalability and performance

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI, QA, DevOps, Product)

·        Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions

·        Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with enterprise standards

·        Troubleshoot and optimize application performance

Required Skills:

·        10+ years of experience in Java backend/Fullstack development

·        Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC

·        Experience with Microservices Architecture

·        Hands-on with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols

·        Strong experience with SQL / NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

·        Familiarity with Kafka / Messaging systems

·        Experience with Docker / Kubernetes

·        Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
