About the Role : Join a team building technology that directly impacts the lives of New Yorkers. The NY State Agency is looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical applications — including City and Landlord portals — that power housing assistance programs across the City. You''ll own meaningful work across the full stack: front-end interfaces, database architecture, ETL pipelines, and automated reporting systems that help our team serve residents faster and more effectively.
What You''ll Do
Application Development
Design and develop full-stack application code and system architecture for City and Landlord portal platforms
Perform coding and unit testing of all portal functionalities and workflows to ensure they meet functional requirements
Build and maintain database specifications, including user access controls, permissions, and data security configurations
Data & Reporting
Design and maintain SSIS Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and SQL statements within Microsoft SQL Server to support data accessibility and multi-table reporting
Generate complex, customized reports using Microsoft SSRS to track existing applications, pending claims, and key program metrics
Develop and maintain nightly batch and ETL processes that generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports from golden records to track new and ongoing requests
Documentation & Architecture
Produce structured diagrams for database, communication, network infrastructure, and security program specifications
Support golden record maintenance and landlord record management through well-documented system design

Candidates should demonstrate sufficient recent, hands-on Angular application development to support a full-stack role at a lead level
We are looking for substantial recent work across Angular components, services, forms, routing, state management, and API integration — paired with strong .NET backend experience
Candidates whose Angular experience is limited, dated, or secondary to other frameworks may not meet the bar for this position.
Required Skills
INDEPTH and Intense Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript: Angular, .Net, and SQL for recent 2 projects at least.
