About the Role
As a Node.js / .NET Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting modern full-stack applications that deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality digital solutions. You will be a valued member of the Engineering team and work collaboratively with product owners, architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions in an Agile environment.
In This Role, You Will
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, .NET technologies, React, SQL-based databases, and cloud-native services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Develop and enhance backend services, APIs, and database integrations while ensuring application performance, reliability, and security.
  • Contribute to frontend development efforts using modern JavaScript frameworks, with a preference for React.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver high-quality software.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong experience developing full-stack applications using .NET technologies and SQL-based databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js development.
  • Experience with modern frontend technologies, preferably React.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms with exposure to AWS services such as Lambda and EKS.
  • Experience working with version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Familiarity with data formats and markup languages including JSON, XML, and HTML.

These Will Help You Stand Out
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot or other Generative AI-powered development tools.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Camunda.
  • Experience deploying infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications in AWS environments.
  • Experience working within highly regulated or compliance-focused environments.
  • Strong execution skills with a proven ability to independently drive deliverables from concept through implementation.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between 129,500 - 152,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to plan terms.
