Job Summary:

This is a full-time on-site role for one of our customers located in Grand Haven, MI. The System Engineer will be responsible for technical support and general system engineering for their clients.

Qualifications:

  • Strong System Engineering skills with experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Experience in Network Administration including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and firewalls. This would be secondary to Systems Engineering skills.
  • Technical Support experience in hardware, software, and remote support
  • Effective Troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identify and prevent technical issues
  • In-depth knowledge of Information Technology concepts and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or CompTIA A+ are a plus

Work Environment:

  • Mostly onsite at home office in Grand Haven or customer sites throughout West MI.
  • On call one weekend every other month.
  • Team consists of Admins, Engineers, Developers, Helpdesk, and office personnel.
