About Fundraise Up

We're Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.

Our platform is trusted by many of the world's leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer's Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we're recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.

About the Role

Fundraise Up is seeking a Solutions Architect, Integrations to join our team. This is a specialized technical role focused on the validation, design, and documentation of complex data ecosystems for nonprofits. As the primary customer-facing technical authority for APIs, webhooks, and middleware orchestration, you will act as a bridge between donor experience goals and the data flow requirements of nonprofit organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Architecture (40%)

  • Architectural Discovery: Lead technical deep-dives with prospect CTOs and lead developers to uncover complex system requirements, including but not limited to headless CMS environments, complex CRM constraints, and ETL processes.
  • System Design: Design bespoke integration architectures using API sequence diagrams and data-flow maps. You will demonstrate how the Fundraise Up JS and REST APIs interact with the nonprofit's tech stack to solve specific business hurdles.
  • Technical De-risking: Provide definitive proof of technical feasibility, removing integration-related friction from the sales cycle.

Technical Governance (30%)

  • Collaborative Technical Advisory: Act as a strategic partner to Presale Solutions Consultants and Postsale Solutions Engineers, providing deep architectural validation to strengthen their customer-facing recommendations.
  • Developer-Ready Documentation: Translate goals into actionable technical specifications. You are responsible for providing the exact JSON schemas, endpoint mappings, and logic flows required for developer execution.
  • Middleware Ownership: Act as the customer-facing technical GTM resource owner for our native integrations and middleware options. Lead technical discussions with partners to ensure our integration roadmaps remain aligned.

Strategic Feedback (20%)

  • Asset Development: Proactively create technical internal resources tools that allow the broader Solutions team to deploy solutions at scale.
  • Team Mentorship: Evaluate and uplift the technical expertise of the Solutions team, providing guidance on integration best practices, leveraging the REST API and JS API.
  • Product Feedback: Collaborate with Product leadership providing feedback and technical insights that will enhance the platform and customer experience.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Integrations Architect, Full Stack Engineer or similar role specifically within the SaaS or Fintech sectors.
  • Expert-level understanding of REST API design, Webhook orchestration, and JavaScript API interactions.
  • Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato, Zapier, Tray.io, or Mulesoft.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex technical diagrams into clear and concise professional presentations for both executive stakeholders and engineering teams. Prior experience of working with Eastern European product and engineering teams is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience working with donor software or other software integrations for NPOs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach to technical documentation and project deadlines.
  • At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. You should already be using AI meaningfully in your work and understand where it adds value and how it can improve the way you operate.
Perks & Benefits
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance covered at 100% for employees, 80% for employee plus dependents, and 70% for employees plus family.
  • FSA and HSA Spending Account.
  • 20 days of vacation, 5 sick days, 11 company holidays plus an additional 1 floating holiday.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • 100% Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, basic life insurance and AD&D.
  • Paid parental leave (12 weeks for primary caregivers / 6 weeks for secondary caregivers).
  • Generous home office stipend to support your remote workspace.
  • Annual professional development stipend to support your growth (e.g., workshops, courses, and seminars).
  • Charitable giving program and paid volunteer time off with registered non-profits.
