Position Overview
CRA's Forensic Services practice supports companies' commitment to integrity by assisting them and their counsel in independently responding to allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, misconduct, and non-compliance. We are noted for deploying cross-trained teams of forensic professionals to assist our clients in gaining deeper insights and greater value more quickly. We provide accounting and forensic services as well as cybercrime investigation services.
As an Associate Principal Full-Stack Developer, you will support the design and development of internal and client-facing software solutions that enable privacy-compliant data collection and consent management. You will work closely with legal, marketing, web, and engineering stakeholders to build enterprise tools that support digital marketing workflows, privacy compliance practices, and critical evidence collection processes. Your responsibilities as an Associate Principal Full-Stack Developer may include (but are not limited to):
  • Architect and build full-stack applications that support cloud data collection workflows and client-side tracking analysis.
  • Design and implement APIs, web interfaces, and data flows to support internal and client-facing platforms.
  • Translate regulatory and legal requirements into secure, scalable, and auditable software systems.
  • Collaborate with consulting and legal teams to develop tools used in investigations, expert testimony, and data risk assessments.
  • Develop automated processes for data collection and processing.
  • Implement secure practices for data ingestion, storage, and access control in compliance with global privacy laws and internal standards.
  • Contribute to the design of data lakes, clean room integrations, audience activation platforms, and data monetization pipelines.
  • Maintain high development standards through peer code review, documentation, and unit testing.
  • Serve as the technical lead on projects involving web tracking analysis and consent preference management.

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in full-stack development, ideally in AdTech, privacy tech, or data-intensive environments.
  • High proficiency with the following languages: JavaScript, Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Bash, XML
  • High proficiency with the following frameworks: React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas.
  • High proficiency with cloud devops and associated platforms: AWS (Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, DynamoDB, ECS, etc.) Azure, GCP , Docker, GitHub.
  • High proficiency with RESTful API Design, Containerization, Microservices Architecture, AI/ML Integration, Unit Testing.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into strategic recommendations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects under deadline pressure.

Work Location Flexibility

Salary and other compensation
A good-faith estimate of the annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $170,000. Stating pay within this range may vary based on factors such as education level, experience, skills, geographic location, market conditions, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for additional bonus incentive compensation.
