Full Stack Developer Hybrid information

What is a full stack developer hybrid?

A Full Stack Developer Hybrid is a software engineer skilled in both front-end and back-end development who works in a hybrid work environment, splitting time between remote and on-site locations. They are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the entire stack of web applications, from user interfaces to databases and servers. The hybrid aspect means they collaborate with teams both virtually and in person, often providing flexibility and increased productivity. These developers must be proficient in multiple programming languages and frameworks, and adaptable to different work settings.

How does a full stack developer in a hybrid work environment typically collaborate with team members across different locations?

As a Full Stack Developer in a hybrid setup, you’ll often collaborate with both in-office and remote teammates using digital tools like version control systems, project management software, and video conferencing platforms. Clear communication and proactive updates are essential, as you may participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving sessions virtually. Balancing independent work with scheduled check-ins helps ensure project alignment and fosters a sense of team cohesion, despite physical distance. This hybrid structure often encourages flexibility while still providing opportunities for in-person brainstorming and team building when on-site.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full stack developer in a hybrid work environment, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Full Stack Developer Hybrid, you need expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python), typically supported by a relevant degree or coding bootcamp. Familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular, databases (SQL/NoSQL), version control (Git), and cloud platforms is essential, and certifications like AWS Certified Developer can be advantageous. Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and self-management skills help you excel in a hybrid setting where remote and in-person work are balanced. These competencies ensure you can deliver robust, scalable solutions while effectively communicating and adapting in flexible work environments.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated Full-Stack Developer with commercial software development experience who is ready to grow within a professional engineering team. In this role, you will work on real-world web applications, contributing to both frontend and backend components and taking part in the full development lifecycle.
You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers to design, implement, test, and maintain production-ready features. The role involves working with existing systems and codebases, participating in code reviews, and gradually taking ownership of technical tasks and solutions.
This position is intended for engineers who already have professional experience in a commercial environment and are comfortable delivering features that meet quality, performance, and maintainability standards. We value a solid engineering mindset, the ability to understand requirements, and a willingness to learn and improve through feedback and collaboration.
If you enjoy solving real product problems, writing clean and maintainable code, and working in a team that values responsibility, transparency, and technical quality, we'd be happy to meet you.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience: work experience is 2-3y & good understanding of web development and a programming language

Skills:  Familiarity with at least one programming language used in web development (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, etc.). Understanding of HTML/CSS. Experience with any modern frontend framework or library is a plus.

Teamwork: Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work in agile environments.
Complementary skills

              Familiarity with RESTful APIs

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Role expectations

Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies (we're using Angular, Typescript, .NET).

Implement robust, maintainable, and well-documented code for client-side and server-side components.

Contribute to real product features. You will participate in development tasks across the stack - from implementing UI components to writing backend logic and tests.
