Job description

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Software Engineer III position! This is a 1 Year + contract and will be hybrid in Wilmington, DE. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Lead and oversee complex systems analysis, design, and development efforts as a principal application designer for critical components and major modifications
• Direct and monitor less experienced development resources, coordinating tasks and managing technical project plans across projects of any scope
• Provide senior-level analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new information technologies to meet short-term business goals and long-term strategic objectives
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Technology staff to guide overall systems development direction from technical analysis through user acceptance testing
• Evaluate and navigate highly complex interrelationships and effects among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms
• Prepare thorough technical and functional specifications, conduct code reviews, and maintain comprehensive systems documentation
• Lead or participate in technical evaluations of vendor software and recommend new technologies, policies, or processes to benefit the organization
• Execute detailed testing plans, complete debugging efforts, and ensure efficient operation of supported applications
• Mentor and develop less experienced staff, monitoring performance on assigned projects and providing technical guidance
• Serve as a technical representative on committees and special projects, adhering to risk and regulatory standards
What You'll Need to Have:
  • 6+ years of systems analysis and application development experience (with Associate's degree), or 8+ years combined higher education and work experience including 6+ years in systems analysis/application development.
  • Designing and developing Fullstack web apps using WebForms, .Net MVC, C#, SQL Server , Angular
  • Azure Cloud migration, Performance Analysis and tunning
  • Complex app Design, Data modeling using Entity Framework Core, and practicing TDD
  • Strong proficiency with application development software and hardware platforms, with the ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Proven experience coordinating between applications teams and business units to recommend and implement effective system solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to drive project milestones and delivery dates while managing competing priorities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide sound solutions
  • Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities with experience directing team activities from a project management perspective
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven experience presenting technical concepts to various audiences
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time management skills

Pay Range: $85-95/hr
