Job description

We are looking for a senior Full Stack Developer to join a client-focused software team in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. This position works closely with leadership and customers to shape, design, and deliver tailored technology solutions that address complex business needs. The role blends hands-on engineering with technical strategy, offering the opportunity to guide projects, influence architecture decisions, and contribute to innovative work involving automation and emerging AI capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver end-to-end software solutions spanning web applications, backend services, databases, and system integrations for a variety of client environments.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle by defining technical approaches, gathering needs, coordinating delivery, and supporting releases and future improvements.
• Create APIs, workflow tools, automations, and connected platforms that improve operational efficiency and solve business challenges.
• Work directly with clients and internal stakeholders to evaluate requirements, translate objectives into technical plans, and recommend practical solution paths.
• Provide technical direction on engagements by establishing architecture standards, guiding implementation decisions, and helping teams navigate complex development work.
• Support and mentor fellow developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and day-to-day engineering guidance.
• Assess technology options and advise on whether custom development or third-party solutions best fit client goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Contribute to projects involving AI-enabled features, intelligent automation, and modern digital tools where they can add measurable value.• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full stack software development, including work on complex business applications.
• Strong proficiency with modern development technologies such as React, Node.js, Python, FastAPI, or comparable frameworks and tools.
• Hands-on experience building backend systems and cloud-based applications, with Azure exposure preferred.
• Solid background in database design, data modeling, application architecture, and scalable solution development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft development technologies, including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and .NET Framework.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients, business partners, and senior decision-makers.
• Experience leading or mentoring small development teams in fast-moving environments with multiple active projects.
• Familiarity with automation platforms, system integrations, or AI-related tools is a plus.
