This position is required to work on-site in our Chicagoland (Glenview, IL) office most days. Everyone receives 3 flexible remote days per month. And, we offer half-day Fridays - every Friday!

• Develop state-of-the art machine learning models and leverage LLMs to solve real-world problems.
• Collaborate with business, operations, and other technology colleagues to understand AI needs and devise possible solutions.
• Develop end-to-end pipelines and operationalize the end-to-end orchestration of models to support the various use cases like Document Q&A, Search, Information Retrieval, classification, personalization, etc.
• Develop solutions to successfully implement the large AI/ML initiatives of the organization.
• Assist project management teams and product owners in defining problem statements, execution roadmap, and incremental milestones.
• Collaborate with others to identify impactful projects, influence key decisions with data, and ensure effective use of AI based technologies.
• Work autonomously to design, develop and deploy solutions.
• Collaborate with data owners to analyze large datasets to uncover insights and trends that inform product development and personalized customer experiences.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed models, ensuring they meet business objectives and scalability requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, data science and engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and services.

• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in software development.
• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar, or equivalent experience.
• Possess professional working experience with LLMs, RAG, NLP, ML solutions.
• Having demonstrated a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles, with a track record of developing high-quality, maintainable code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, while exhibiting high enthusiasm to tackle complex challenges in AI development and deployment.
• Prior experience leveraging Azure AI Foundry and machine learning services to deploy, monitor, and maintain solutions.
• Strong software engineering foundation with a commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Proven ability to stay updated with state-of-the-art techniques through continuous research and application.
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to evolving project scopes.
• Passionate about creating intuitive technology solutions and a continuous desire to learn and take on new challenges.
