Job description

Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a .NET Developer to work in an agile team environment. The primary responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and supporting multi-tier web-based and WPF applications while ensuring adherence to software engineering standards.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work in an agile team to develop, maintain, and support multi-tier high performance web based and WPF applications.
โ€ข Provide and promote software engineering's coding practices and standards
โ€ข Work closely with the Product Owner and team to understand business process workflows.
โ€ข Participate in Agile/Scrum teams while building beautiful applications and interfaces
โ€ข Deploy and support applications across multiple development platforms
โ€ข Integrate front-end GUIs with back-end databases, APIs, and other computational frameworks
โ€ข Provide accurate scoping and estimation of development efforts for projects based on product requirements
โ€ข Ensure that projects are developed in accordance to DSI's Software Engineering architectural and UI/UX standards
โ€ข Differentiating factors โ€“ Azure/AWS experience, Angular experience
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข BS โ€“ computer science/software engineering or related discipline
โ€ข 7+ years of experience in developing software web applications in a scrum setting using MS .NET/SQL technologies
โ€ข Experience using established engineering methodologies through all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
โ€ข Knowledge of common coding languages and frameworks. In particular, (C#, JavaScript, Typescript, .Net, Angular 5+, and SQL)
โ€ข Work in an agile team to develop, maintain, and support multi-tier high performance web based and WPF applications
โ€ข Provide and promote software engineering's coding practices and standards
โ€ข Work closely with the Product Owner and team to understand business process workflows
โ€ข Participate in Agile/Scrum teams while building beautiful applications and interfaces
โ€ข Deploy and support applications across multiple development platforms

Preferred:
โ€ข Azure/AWS experience
โ€ข Knowledge of Azure cloud services is a plus
