• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health status and needs of clients, particularly within the context of hospice care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and emotional needs, adapting as necessary throughout the client’s journey.
• Provide individual therapy to adults, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused approaches to support clients dealing with grief and end-of-life issues.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to conduct virtual therapy sessions, ensuring access to care for clients regardless of their geographical location.
• Offer crisis intervention services as necessary, providing immediate support for clients in acute distress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about best practices, advancements in mental health, and industry standards.

The primary focus of this role involves supporting terminally ill patients and their families, addressing the mental health challenges associated with end-of-life care. You will work with a diverse range of clients presenting with various psychological symptoms related to grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression, ensuring they receive comprehensive emotional support during challenging times.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage clients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude, especially when working with sensitive end-of-life issues.
• Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently, particularly when handling a full caseload and administrative duties.
• No history of disciplinary actions on board.

• Experience working in hospice, palliative care, or with populations dealing with grief and loss.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technologies for conducting therapy sessions.
• A track record showing engagement in continuing education and professional development activities relevant to mental health.

• Annual salary range of $90,000 to $104,000, commensurate with caseload and experience.
