Maxim Wellness Corporation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for a full-time remote position. This role will focus on delivering exceptional virtual therapy services, ideally seeing a minimum of 25 clients each week. You will work independently but as part of a supportive team that prioritizes patient care above all. We handle essential administrative tasks such as marketing for new clients, insurance verification, and billing through our advanced electronic health record (EHR) system, allowing you to concentrate on what matters most: providing outstanding therapy services.

• Conduct thorough assessments for new clients to develop personalized therapy plans.
• Deliver effective virtual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, primarily focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in our EHR to ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Participate in regular training and development sessions aimed at improving clinical competencies and service delivery.

Our clients primarily encompass adults aged 18 and older, with diverse backgrounds and varying mental health concerns. We also focus on serving minority groups and the LGBTQIA+ community, affirming our commitment to inclusivity and cultural competency. The ideal candidate will be sensitive to the unique challenges these populations face and equipped to offer compassionate and personalized support.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active LICSW license to practice in the State of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, particularly CBT and/or psychodynamic therapy.
• Possession of professional malpractice insurance.
• Prior experience in providing psychotherapy for adult clients.

• Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, while not mandatory, will enhance the candidate's fit with our client focus.
• Experience in addressing men’s mental health issues is also advantageous.
• Background in working with diverse and minority populations is strongly preferred.
