Job description

The Order Selector/Picker is responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The Order Filler is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Locate, select, stack and wrap full case products in the warehouse using RF system.

• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage

• Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled

• Experience using powered pallet jack for order selection.

• Meet company standards for productivity and average pick per hour/day.

• Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards

• Use a forklift and cherry picker to select products from the bulk locations.

• load outbound orders as needed.

• Fill locations as needed to select product for customer orders.

• Maintain record company trackers in place for orders and shipping.

• Meet daily production needs for Wholesale, Transfer, and customer orders.

• Overtime is required when needed Monday- Friday.

• Other duties as assigned.

Working conditions

Environment is a climate-controlled warehouse. Selector position requires repetitive motions, using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment. Routine deadlines, sufficient lead time, variance in work volume seasonal and predictable, frequent interruptions are present, occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

Physical requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job frequently requires standing, handling objects with hands, standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting over 50 lbs. Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties. Must have pallet jack experience. Perform in Warehouse environments.
