Drive Local and Know Your Week Before It Starts Salaries Ranging From $60,000 - $80,000National Convenience DistributorsCDL Class A DriverJoin the Colonial Wholesale Distributing team as a Local CDL Class A Driver delivering and picking up products safely, on time, and with great customer service. Enjoy a Tuesday through Saturday schedule with dispatch times between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Enjoy a salary ranging from $60,000 - $80,000. What You'll DoSafely transport products to customer locations in a timely and courteous mannerDeliver a wide variety of items to different addresses across multiple routesFollow assigned routes, time schedules, and delivery/pickup instructionsLoad, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicleHandle the delivery process including packing lists, invoices, and COD and return processingReview the current day's work to ensure all areas have been servicedAsk for feedback and resolve customer complaintsCommunicate daily with team members, drivers, and the general publicFollow DOT regulations and safety standardsRequirementsValid Commercial Class A Driver's LicensePrevious CDL driving experienceMust qualify physically and obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate under 49 CFR, Section 391 43-49 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety RegulationsDriving record in good standing with no DUI/DWI or drug conviction in the last 5 yearsAcceptable DOT drug test historyHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read maps efficientlyStrong customer service skills and a professional appearanceAbility to function well as part of a teamDiligent attention to detail and safetyWorking ConditionsThis role involves repetitive motions using upper and lower extremities, along with mounting and dismounting equipment. Work volume varies seasonally but is predictable, with routine deadlines and generally sufficient lead time.Frequent interruptions are common, and the role may involve occasional exposure to demands and pressures from people other than your immediate supervisor. Vision requirements include the ability to see information in print and electronically.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.This job frequently requires standing, walking, reaching, handling objects with hands, talking, hearing, and lifting over 50 pounds.
