About The Role

We are looking for our next Senior Operative to be the knowledge lead within its designated team (we call them pods). You will work closely with the fulfilment manager and Pod Leader to ensure that all contracts are delivering against their service level agreements. You will be instrumental as the boots on the ground trouble shooter while picking and packing yourself.


This is a great role if you're looking to develop your leadership skills as you will be supporting the development of team members by coaching and mentoring them to better understand our quality processes.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead fulfilment activities across picking, packing, and dispatch within your area
  • Act as the first point of contact for operational issues, resolving or escalating where required
  • Support the Pod Leader in driving daily operational performance
  • Train, coach, and mentor warehouse operatives to improve capability and output
  • Ensure stock is stored correctly and inventory accuracy is maintained
  • Carry out stock checks and support inventory control processes
  • Operate MHE equipment safely (FLT, pallet trucks, etc.)
  • Promote a safe, compliant, and high-performing working environment


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfilment environment
  • Strong understanding of picking, packing, and inventory processes
  • Experience using WMS systems and warehouse technology
  • Ability to coach and support team members on process and performance
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • MHE/FLT licence (or willingness to train)
