The Fulfillment Center Manager role at MEGHANI is a full‑time, salaried position reporting to the Senior Director of Operations. In this role, you will own the day‑to‑day operations of our fulfillment center, ensuring the seamless movement of product from dock to doorstep. This hands‑on leadership role oversees outbound shipping, inventory accuracy, inbound receiving, returns processing, carrier management, and warehouse operations while leading and developing the fulfillment team.

As the primary leader onsite, the Fulfillment Center Manager serves as the key holder and is responsible for the daily operation of the facility from open to close. The ideal candidate brings deep operational expertise, strong systems knowledge, and a passion for building efficient processes that support growth. This is a working manager role. The Fulfillment Center Manager is expected to work alongside the team across all fulfillment functions, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving as needed.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead daily fulfillment operations, including wave creation, order releases, picking workflows, and shipping execution to ensure all orders meet service level expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all carrier relationships, including UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
  • Negotiate carrier agreements, audit shipping invoices, and identify opportunities to reduce shipping costs and improve efficiency.
  • Own inventory accuracy across all physical and virtual locations within NetSuite, maintaining strong inventory controls and cycle count processes.
  • Manage bin locations, inventory movements, and the complete "Unkitted to Finished Goods" workflow.
  • Prioritize inbound receipts based on sales demand and inventory needs to maintain product availability.
  • Oversee purchase order receiving, inventory transfers, and warehouse organization.
  • Manage the complete returns process across web, retailer, and bulk channels, ensuring timely processing and resolution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates while creating clear operational expectations and accountability.
  • Partner with temporary staffing agencies to support peak periods and changing business needs.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant fulfillment environment.
  • Serve as the facility key holder and maintain responsibility for opening, closing, security, and the daily operation of the fulfillment center.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 3-5+ years of fulfillment center, warehouse, or small operations.
  • Experience leading daily warehouse operations and managing frontline teams.
  • Experience in eCommerce, wholesale, or retail fulfillment operations.
  • Hands‑on experience with NetSuite WMS preferred, including RF scanners and ShipStation.
  • Experience managing high volume returns operations; Happy Returns experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, cycle counts, and warehouse controls.
  • Experience creating, documenting, and improving standard operating procedures.
  • Vendor management experience, including carriers, packaging suppliers, and staffing partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to manage shipping costs, service levels, and operational performance.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
Nice to Haves:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple brands or sales channels.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
