Job Summary  
We are seeking a skilled Fuel Cell Sealer to perform sealing operations on major assemblies, sub-assemblies, precision bench work, and integral fuel cells. This role involves applying specialized sealants, ensuring quality standards, and supporting continuous product flow within the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Apply sealing compounds such as fillet and fay, cap seal, brush coat, scotch cast, leveling compound, and aerodynamic seal.
  2. Perform pressure testing and sealing operations based on drawings, specifications, and established processes.
  3. Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders to meet quality requirements.
  4. Complete required data gathering transactions to track sealer progression.
  5. Perform pickup, rework, fabrication, change incorporation, functional testing, or checks during or after sealing progression.
  6. Use measuring instruments as required to accomplish work assignments.
  7. Report and investigate job handicaps such as errors, assembly procedures, tools, or sequences.
  8. Support continuous product flow by training, coaching, and assisting employees across classification levels.
  9. Document discrepancies according to specifications and procedures.
  10. Temporarily attach parts or assemblies, install collars, and other hardware not related to drilling or countersinking.
  11. Apply sealing compounds to integral fuel cells and related wing section components.
  12. Perform major assembly sealing, large structure sealing, and aerodynamic sealing as required.

Required Qualifications
  1. Experience in sealing operations within aerospace or manufacturing environments.
  2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and process documents.
  3. Strong knowledge of sealing compounds and application techniques.
  4. Proficiency in using measuring instruments and performing quality checks.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly or process issues.
  6. Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Prior experience with integral fuel cell sealing.
