The Role

Due to growing demand for our services, we are looking to add additional Fuel Field Technicians to our team. The Fuel Field Technician will provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, phase separation correction, tank cleaning and other related services for our fuel customers. The Fuel Field Technician will consistently exceed customers’ expectations by exhibiting a strong work ethic, respect and empathy for the team and our customers as well as contribute to a culture of curiosity and responsiveness. The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently, have a mix of mechanical and technical skills and possess a strong desire to learn.

Role and Responsibilities

·Undergo specialized training led by experienced OWL Services technician and demonstrate competency in all areas within a specified time frame.

·Perform highly diversified duties involved with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, phase separation correction, tank cleaning and other related services on clients’ fuel equipment as instructed.

·Respond and complete service calls and emergencies in a prompt and professional manner.

·Complete company-mandated administrative paperwork regarding customer service requests, services performed, tools required, etc.

·Comply with all appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, local and company codes/regulations/requirements.

·Maintain open lines of communication with other team members as necessary.

·Participate in on-call rotation system where after-hours service duties may be necessary.

·Display a commitment to safety at all times.

·Drive safely to and from customer sites.

·Participate in regular tasks that contribute to helping keep the shop and office area clean and orderly.

·Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required skills and qualifications

· Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently so as to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Some field technician experience preferred.

· Must have and maintain a current and valid driver’s license.

· Must have and maintain a clean driving record.

· Possess these core competencies: Honesty/Integrity/Humility, Strong Work Ethic/Enthusiasm, Commitment to Pursuit of Knowledge and Cooperation/Teamwork.

· Possess mechanical aptitude and problem solving mindset.

· High level of adaptability to change since much of the work is emergency service in nature and highly unpredictable.

· Ability to work some nights as required and participate in a rotational on-call weekend schedule.

· Self-motivated with a passion for excellence and self-improvement.
