Job description

You will be the Utilities & Mechanical Systems Engineer - Level 4 for the Utility Systems - Vehicle Systems team which is responsible for designing, improving, and sustaining utility and fluid systems on AMMM aircraft such as the C130 and C5.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Utilities & Mechanical Systems Engineer - Level 4 you will be responsible for delivering highimpact mechanical and fluidsystem solutions that keep our transport aircraft missionready.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Design, analyze, and refine mechanical and fluid utility systems for C130 and C5 platforms.

  • Provide troubleshooting, production support, and sustainment solutions for flight controls, landing gear, fuel, hydraulic, and related subsystems.

  • Generate and update engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

  • Conduct lab testing, investigate nonconformances, and implement corrective actions.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, prepare statements of work, and lead supplierqualification efforts.
