Summary
The Senior EHS Specialist supports the organization's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs with a strong focus on sustainability initiatives, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, environmental compliance, and corporate ESG reporting. This role ensures accurate emissions tracking, supports compliance with emerging regulatory requirements, and contributes to long-term environmental performance improvement across all facilities.
Responsibilities
  • Environmental, Sustainability & GHG Reporting
    • Develop, maintain, and verify the organization's GHG inventory across Scopes 1, 2, and 3 using GHG Protocol and applicable standards
    • Collect, validate, and analyze environmental data (energy, fuel, refrigerants, waste, water, transportation, etc.) from internal stakeholders and external partners
    • Support reporting and disclosures required by CARB, EPA, state legislation (e.g SB 253/ SB 261), and Corporate/customer sustainability requests
    • Prepare annual sustainability and ESG reporting inputs, including KPIs, emissions trends, and reduction progress
    • Coordinate with consultants and third-party assurance providers for environmental and emissions audits
  • EHS Program Support
    • Assist in implementing and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, and standards aligned with ISO frameworks (ISO 14001/ISO 45001 preferred)
    • Perform environmental aspect/impact assessments and support mitigation planning
    • Support compliance programs including hazardous waste, stormwater, air quality, and emergency response
    • Conduct inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking
  • Internal Collaboration & Governance
    • Work closely with EHS Operations, Legal, Operations, Procurement, and other teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting
    • Maintain documentation, audit trails, and data governance for all environmental metrics
    • Track and communicate progress against environmental goals and KPIs
    • Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range
$58,000 - $63,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
