What We Need


Corpay is currently looking to hire a Field Sales Representative based in either N Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon or Washington. This position falls within our US Vehicle Payments line of business and reports to the VP of Field Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our industry-leading SaaS-based Fuel Management and competitive business card solutions in your assigned territory.

 

The ideal candidate is:

  • Passionate about new sales and committed to continuous professional and personal development through training and coaching
  • Resides in the geographical territory and grows the customer base through face-to-face interactions with new prospective customers
  • Adept at collaborating with senior executives to close business and land new accounts by partnering with key internal stakeholders including pricing, legal, risk, and other internal partners
  • Seeks to understand customer needs and leverages product knowledge to deliver innovative business solutions that provide ongoing value to new customers through the Fleet business suite of products.

Role Responsibilities

  • Generating new business by selling solutions to middle-market commercial accounts based within the assigned market
  • Communicating recommendations effectively to the appropriate level of leadership within an account
  • Following a consultative sales methodology that involves identifying prospective customers' goals, challenges, and needs
  • Aligning prospective customers’ needs to potential solutions, and recommending and demonstrating the value proposition of an appropriate solution to meet those needs
  • Being actively involved throughout the implementation phase with each new customer to ensure a quick and complete realization of revenue
  • Building and maintaining a professional network to develop a balanced pipeline of prospective accounts
  • Communicating accurate and timely forecasts to multiple levels of management
  • Effectively communicating and collaborating with internal and external resources to deliver results
  • Actively participating in the preparation and execution of sales plans, events, and campaigns
  • Being responsible and accountable for meeting required sales/revenue targets
  • Documenting all sales-related activities within the Salesforce CRM
  • Engaging in personal and professional development through feedback and coaching from sales management and peers.
  • Adhering to proper business process, conduct, and compliance requirements

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 3 years of documented selling experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and self-generate leads
  • Strong primary and secondary account/ industry research skills; demonstrated ability to leverage professional network and third-party sources to develop a deep understanding of prospect needs, anticipated objections, and potential leverage points
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and rapport to earn credibility with prospects
  • Experience selling to or managing relationships with corporate clients preferred.
  • Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Must have the ability to represent Corpay in a polished and professional manner
  • Knowledge of commercial payments, fuel, and/or automation preferred
  • Must have strong work ethic and self-discipline
  • Flexible; comfortable in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and changes in direction
  • Travel is required; up to 50%
  • Experience working in Microsoft Suite and Salesforce preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Pay Transparency

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 (plus uncapped commission - $160,000 - $200,000 is a realistic on-target earnings), based on the candidate’s work location and experience. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process. Additional compensation and benefits, including incentive programs, health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits (where applicable), may also be provided.
