Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Fuel Farm Machinist supporting TOS II, at Arnold AFB Tennessee. The selected candidate will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Open to external candidates. The selected candidate for this requisition must be available to work any shift and shift determination will be made based on the priority of work at the time the selected candidate is cleared to report to work.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will under general supervision operate and maintain fuel storage and distribution systems and equipment.

Job Duties:

  • Operates and maintains fuel storage and distribution systems and equipment
  • Receives, samples, stores, transfers, and issues fuel through pipelines and tank trucks
  • Operates and maintains a high pressure LN2/GN2 conversion facility, distribution system and equipment
  • It is a condition of employment to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy
  • Participation in functional specific safety training
  • Perform other duties as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent with two years of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience
  • Must be a graduate of the AF Fuels Apprentice Course J3ABR2F031 00AB or sister service equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and the AEDC local area network
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to understand, give and take directions
  • Must have a current driver's license and be able to maintain
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
