Job Summary:
The Fuel Educator is responsible for serving all products with friendly, enthusiastic, individualized attention towards each guest. The Fuel Educator is also responsible for educating guests about our premium coffees, teas and smoothies. Under the supervision and direction of the Fuel Manager, the Fuel Educator plays a vital role in ensuring a guest's experience at the store is positive and beneficial, creating a unique personalized experience each and every time.
Key Responsibilities of the Job
  • Responsible for ensuring a premium guest experience at the Fuel Café as well as on the retail floor, when needed
  • Building strong relationships with guests, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment
  • Working with the other team members in welcoming, interacting and engaging guests in order to determine their interests and meet their fueling needs
  • Educating guests about the Fuel menu options
  • Prepare customized orders to include but not limited to: espresso, cappuccino, latte, decaf espresso, smoothies
  • Set up & break down of coffee station
  • Maintaining and cleaning coffee station
  • Performing daily shift side work, opening duties, and closing duties, as assigned by the Fuel Manager
  • Cleans and stocks coffee station throughout service
  • Follow cleaning schedule as designated by the Café General Manager, maintain highest quality of areas at all times
  • Follows the Café's operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift
  • Maintaining inventory
  • Attend monthly team meetings

Job Requirements
Eligibility
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must have the ability to travel to assigned store with own transportation methods

Availability
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Other Willingness Requirements
  • Willing to work in an environment with bright lights and loud music
  • Willing to move through a store for most of a shift to help guests and accomplish work
  • Willing to move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg)
  • Willing to work as part of a team and also complete some work independently

Compensation & Benefits Package
lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional team performance. The base pay range for this position is from $19.00- $21.86/hour subject to minimum wage in the location. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This position has a target bonus of an additional $2 per hour, subject to certain requirements and the Company's discretion, bringing the total target compensation range between $21.00- $23.86/ hour.
