Description

This position is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of their vehicle. Drivers are responsible for delivering petroleum products to company owned sites and customers.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
  • Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
  • Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
  • Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis.
  • Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
  • Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers on a daily basis.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Quarterly safety bonuses (eligible after 120 days of employment).
  • Monthly performance bonus based on gallons delivered (eligible after 120 days of employment).

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and an acceptable driving record that meets company and DOT/FMCSA requirements.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED.
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) REQUIRED or ability to obtain one within 30 days after hire.
  • Prior fuel, petroleum, or hazardous material transportation experience preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete DOT required pre-employment drug testing.
  • Subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
  • Must meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA qualification standards, including a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours as business needs require.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
