Job Description:

  • The Payment SME will lead complex Payment Modernization initiatives within the banking ecosystem managing roadmap implementation and delivery of client facing payment solutions.
  • This role owns the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle including strategy roadmap requirements governance design testing timelines budget and vendor coordination.
  • The Payment SME will align business and IS teams on product vision priorities and execution while driving delivery excellence and stakeholder engagement.
  • Key Responsibilities Payments industry thought leader with at least 10 plus years of experience.
  • Hands on knowledge working with Payment Hub products including IBM FTM Oracle Message Bus Dovetail Bottomline product suite GPP SP Plus FIS Suite Fiserv Payment Engine CGI All Payments.
  • Strong experience in payments including FED CHIPS SWIFT and retail payments such as ACH Cards RTP BillPay and Zelle P2PIntegration experience working with APIs IBM MQ Host to Host and file based protocols.
  • Experience in decomposition of monolith systems to microservices using domain driven methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Canadian payment systems including LVTS RTR Interac and Payment Canada modernization initiatives.
  • Experience in emerging payment methods and trends including tokenization blockchain AI and ML in fraud detection.
  • Active participation within industry forums and social platforms.
  • Willingness to support both business development practice growth and capability development including solutions and resources.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in the fast-changing payments environment.
  • Ability to innovate and rapidly build solution accelerators MVPs and frameworks to drive nonlinear growth.
  • Strong client facing and presentation skills.
