Ataero is seeking a Maintenance Administration/Control Technician to provide onsite maintenance administration, management, and NAVAIR logistics support for the AN/ALQ-231(V) Intrepid Tiger II (IT-II) Electronic Warfare Program Fleet Support Team (FST) at Naval Air Station Point Mugu, California. The selected candidate will monitor fleet maintenance activities supporting the IT II electronic warfare system, monitor system readiness, provide system maintenance metrics, and serve as the primary liaison between government personnel, Field Service Representatives (FSRs), contractors, supply personnel, and fleet maintenance organizations. This position is responsible for ensuring documentation, and logistics support is executed efficiently to maximize system availability and mission readiness in support of Naval Aviation Electronic Warfare operations. Primary Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between government personnel, Field Service Representatives (FSRs), fleet maintenance personnel, logistics organizations, supply activities, and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
Monitor all maintenance actions (scheduled, preventive, corrective, unscheduled) to maximize mission system readiness.
Track maintenance status, mission equipment readiness, and work order completion using applicable maintenance management systems.
Ensure maintenance documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable NAVAIR, Navy, and Marine Corps maintenance policies, technical directives, and safety requirements.
Coordinate the requisition, tracking, and availability of repair parts, support equipment, and consumables required to sustain maintenance operations.
Monitor maintenance trends, identify recurring discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to improve system reliability and operational readiness.
Coordinate with FSRs, depot activities, engineering personnel, configuration management, and logistics teams to resolve maintenance issues impacting mission capability.
Prepare maintenance reports, readiness metrics, maintenance status updates, and briefings for program leadership and government stakeholders.
Assist with inventory accountability, serialized asset tracking, and maintenance records management for IT II mission equipment.
Participate in maintenance planning meetings, readiness reviews, and program management discussions to support fleet sustainment objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned by the FST Logistics Lead in support of the Intrepid Tiger II (IT-II) Program. Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance, Aviation Management, Logistics, or a related field and Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Foundational certification training completion.
In lieu of degree, minimum ten (10) years of experience in military maintenance control, production control, or aviation supply/logistics.
Working knowledge of maintenance/supply management systems such as Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA), Decision Knowledge Programming for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (DECKPLATE), Naval Supply Command (NAVSUP) One Touch, Technical Directive Status Accounting (TDSA), NAVAIR Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), NAVAIR General Series manuals, Joint Discrepancy Reporting System (JDRS) reports, or equivalent aviation maintenance/supply information systems
Experience supporting US Navy/Marine Corps fixed-wing and/or rotary-wing aircraft maintenance operations in an operational aviation environment.
Working knowledge of US Navy/Marine Corps aviation maintenance policies, technical directives, and maintenance management/documentation procedures.
Experience coordinating maintenance activities across maintenance personnel, supply organizations, engineering teams, and Field Service Representatives (FSRs).
Knowledge of aircraft avionics systems and maintenance documentation processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain access to government facilities and information systems.
Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting the Intrepid Tiger II (IT-II) Electronic Warfare program or other airborne Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Attack (EA), or Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) systems.
Experience supporting NAVAIR, Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE), Marine Corps Aviation, or Fleet Readiness organizations.
Previous experience as a Maintenance Controller, Maintenance Administration, or Quality Assurance Supervisor (QAS).
Familiarity with Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 requirements.
Experience coordinating directly with Field Service Representatives (FSRs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and depot-level maintenance activities.
Experience in communicating and coordinating with various logistic elements and organizations to include NAVSUP, NAVAIR PMA Logistic Element Managers, Lakehurst Support Equipment Division, Wings/Squadrons, other DOD departments, and Product Support team members. Travel Requirements
