SALARY RANGE: $79,500.00 - $109,287.50

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Provides leadership and oversight for all operations at assigned facility, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and applicable regulations. Responsible for the profitable operation of GTTC, including shop productivity, quality control, customer service, and regulatory compliance. Serves as the primary point of contact for GROWMARK and customer inquiries and actively promotes maintenance services to member and non-member customers to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP

Provides leadership, direction, and development for shop technicians and service coordinators, ensuring effective team performance, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Supervises, plans, and directs the daily activities and professional development of Technicians and Service Coordinators. Provides leadership, coaching, training, and performance management to enhance productivity, service quality, employee engagement, and career growth.

Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training employees while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Manages the daily operations of the maintenance facility, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure operational, financial, and customer service functions are performed effectively and on schedule.

Oversees workflow, scheduling, resource allocation, job estimating, parts procurement, and work quality to ensure customer expectations, production schedules, and profitability objectives are met. Reviews and approves work orders, invoices, inspection reports, and regulatory documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Ensures compliance with all applicable DOT, OSHA, ASME, R-Stamp, environmental, federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company safety and EHS policies. Administers the facility safety program through training, compliance monitoring, and continuous reinforcement of safe work practices.

Responsible for managing and maintaining the GROWMARK trailer fleet within the assigned territory, ensuring regulatory compliance while analyzing fleet performance and implementing cost-control strategies to minimize operating expenses.

Accountable for overall shop performance, employee development, work quality, customer satisfaction, safety, regulatory compliance, and financial results.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of mechanical experience, and 1 to 3 years of experience performing DOT-regulated maintenance, inspection, or compliance-related work.

Demonstrates a working knowledge of CFR 49 regulations, including the ability to interpret requirements, train employees, and conduct compliance inspections.

Demonstrates basic industry knowledge, 0 to 3 years of experience in budgetary management and continuous improvement strategies, a basic understanding of KPI processes and monitoring, and the ability to maintain customer relationships.

Possesses leadership and supervisory abilities, including coaching, developing, and motivating employees to achieve operational and customer service objectives. Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to effectively interact with employees, customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Demonstrates strong business and operational knowledge while demonstrating excellence in collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, employee development, and computer proficiency.

Must be capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and leading operations in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals, as well as occasional work at elevated heights. Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required.

Must have the ability and willingness to participate in required training, including company policies and procedures, safety programs, regulatory compliance requirements, and other job-related training and professional development opportunities.

Must be available to respond to operational needs outside of normal business hours, including on-call and occasional evening, weekend, and emergency support as business needs require.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
