Picker

Summary of Position
The Picker is responsible for pulling product components to satisfy client orders. They will do so by managing pick ticket orders by physically pulling product components, placing them on a pallet and delivering them to their designated dropoff location (assembly/shipping).

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Manage pick ticket orders from start to finish while being timely and accurate.
  • Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, colour, quantity, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure that orders are picked without damages.
  • Stage items correctly for production, if required.
  • Operate equipment safely.
  • Assists with stock replenishment.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Performs other general warehouse duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects for extended periods of time.
  • Safety conscious.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
