Position Overview

The Frozen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the frozen foods department, ensuring product availability, quality, and presentation meet company standards. This role drives sales, manages inventory, and leads associates to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities Department Operations
  • Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing frozen cases at all times
  • Ensure proper product rotation, stocking, and date code integrity
  • Monitor and maintain proper freezer temperatures and conditions
  • Execute ad plans, seasonal sets, and promotional displays
Inventory & Ordering
  • Order frozen products to support sales while controlling shrink
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and backroom organization
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with period counts
  • Identify slow-moving or out-of-stock items and take corrective action
Customer Service
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure department is clean, organized, and easy to shop
Team Leadership
  • Train, coach, and support frozen department associates
  • Delegate tasks and ensure completion of daily workload
  • Promote a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment
