The Frozen Food clerk is an important position within the store. Many customers make their decisions to shop at our store because of the quality and variety of our departments and specifically the many frozen items that we make available to them. This position is responsible for creating an appealing presentation of the tremendous variety and selection of products that we offer. Our customers trust the safety of the products we sell. We must do everything to give them the right price and the right items when they want it. The frozen clerk can make the difference by the way he or she does their job. We need to treat each individual like a guest in our home -- with courtesy, friendliness and the respect that they deserve.• Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and adhere to dress code regulation; Adhere to all local, state and federal health and civil code regulations; Assist in monitoring procedures for restocking to ensure accuracy, proper product rotation and quality protection; Enjoys selling and customer contact with product returns and complaints Promotes and demonstrates high-quality of customer service.
Position Requirements
Able to read, write and speak English with reasonable proficiency Able to communicate effectively with customer, associates, and others Available in terms of scheduling hours; able to work weekends; willing to work in cold environments Ability to lift boxes at a minimum weight of 50 pounds Ability to stand for four consecutive hours, without restrictions. Delegates work to meet front-end assignments Identifies checking error problems. Analyzes all facts and conditions related to the checking issues. Develops appropriate solutions. Sets fair but challenging productivity goals and standards for subordinates Delegates work fairly.
