Pay Rate Starting at: Level $19.50/ hr Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority.
SUMMARY
The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. Dairy/Frozen Food manager must possess reasonable knowledge in storing, preparing, and maintaining product, as well as demonstrate competency in, inventory control, ordering and receiving product, and labor management/scheduling. Strong organizational skills, as well as prioritizing multiple tasks are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Dairy/Frozen Food operations, safety, and sanitation
  • Fulfill or oversee weekly product orders while following all operating procedures
  • Adhere to shelf management as it applies to following suggested plan-o-gram layout and new/discontinued items
  • Adhere to company policy through proper receiving, handling, storing, and stocking of product
  • Follow and enforce proper rotation of product to ensure the freshest products available for the customers
  • Achieve financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization, as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense
  • Selection, training, development and scheduling of Dairy/Frozen Food associates
  • Direct subordinates in implementing plan of action and goal attainment
  • Complete all necessary paperwork relating to Dairy/Frozen Food Department
  • Ensure that the coolers, freezers and cases are at proper temperature and in working condition

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years of age Education and Experience:
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Possess strong communication skills
