Job description

JOB SUMMARY
Serves as a vital connection between leadership and frontline associates, translating operational objectives into effective daily execution. Leads, coaches, and supports inbound teams to meet high-volume order and inventory demands with accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness. Oversees the receiving, processing, and movement of goods across multiple locations, ensuring inventory is handled safely, compliantly, and with minimal disruption to operations. Drives productivity through clear communication, team development, and continuous process improvement while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform effectively in a fast-paced, continuously evolving warehouse and distribution environment.
  • Lead team members in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities to meet operational goals and deadlines.
  • Oversee material handling and warehousing functions, including the receiving, processing, storing, movement, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure accuracy by verifying quantities, part numbers, destinations, and shipment schedules using various source documents and inventory systems.
  • Direct and support the safe and efficient use of equipment for weighing, banding, wrapping, labeling, and packaging materials.
  • Lead the safe operation, routine inspection, and basic servicing of mechanical, motorized, and electrical warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform specialized clerical and documentation duties related to inventory, shipping, receiving, and operational processes.
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality standards to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with company procedures.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members on warehouse processes, safety requirements, and best practices.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, or retail operations environment.Proven experience in receiving, inventory management, shipping, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with associates, management, and cross-functional partners.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control processes, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of workplace safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to monitor performance metrics, drive productivity, and ensure achievement of operational goals.
  • Experience coordinating inventory movement, receiving schedules, and workflow planning across multiple locations is preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise as required and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays as business needs require.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
  • Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
  • Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.
