Frontend Software Engineer


Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Department: Building Technology Solutions
Reports To: Commercial Development Manager

 Summary

We are launching a new, greenfield product, supported by a newly assembled, crossfunctional team. We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to help design and build modern, userfocused web applications from the ground up.

This role offers the opportunity to apply frontend best practices and modern frameworks in a new product setting, while operating within the quality, security, and scalability standards of an enterprise environment. You will collaborate closely with a full-stack team to deliver intuitive, highquality user experiences from MVP through full production.

  • What would you do as our Frontend Software Engineer Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 17+ (preferred), TypeScript, RxJS and component-driven frontend architecture.
  • Translate UX designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and data services
  • Collaborate with backend teams to define API contracts and data flows
  • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, including state management and component design
  • Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for performance, security, and reliability
  • Support the transition of MVPs and prototypes into productionready frontend applications
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation
  • Continuously improve UI performance, usability, and maintainability

The skills and experience you bring:

  • 3+ years of professional frontend software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
  • Experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs
  • Proven experience supporting a product from MVP or prototype through production release
  • Strong attention to UI quality, usability, and performance
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within crossfunctional product teams
