About the Opportunity:
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer - AI Prototyping to join Seekr as a bridge between high-level product concepts and technical reality. In this role, you will be the primary engine for rapid experimentation, turning abstract ideas into functional, interactive prototypes. While you will leverage our existing React and Next.js stack, you are an "open thinker" who can move beyond the front end-using Python and FastAPI to spin up lightweight back-end services that bring your prototypes to life.
The Impact:
At Seekr, we value speed and agility. As a Senior Frontend Engineer - AI Prototyping, you aren't just building features; you are de-risking our roadmap. You possess strong functional design skills, allowing you to make smart UX decisions on the fly without needing a pixel-perfect mockup. You'll work in a high-trust environment where your ability to pivot, experiment, and "fail fast" will directly influence the direction of our global applications.
Skills and Qualifications:Â
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
- 5+ years of experience with React (including Next.js and hooks) to build high-fidelity interactive experiences.
- Proficiency in Python and FastAPI for developing rapid, lightweight back-end prototypes and APIs.
- Working knowledge of how AI and LLMs work
- Experience effectively utilizing AI technologies and tools (e.g., large language models, agents, etc.) to enhance workflows
- Functional Design Skills: Ability to design intuitive user flows and layouts for web applications; experience with tools like Figma is a plus.
- Proficient in using AI Coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to dramatically accelerate the prototyping lifecycle.
- Experience with JSON APIs and integrating front-end prototypes with live or mocked data sources.
- Agile Mindset: Comfortable with "throwaway code" and shifting directions quickly based on stakeholder feedback.
- Strong Communication: Ability to present prototypes to both technical leads and non-technical stakeholders to demonstrate "proof of concept."
