Job Summary:
Ennoble First is a company supporting complex government, defense, and intelligence projects. They are seeking a UI/UX Engineer to design and develop user-centered interfaces for mission-critical applications, collaborating with software engineers and product owners to enhance user experience in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for mission-critical web applications.
• Translate complex operational and technical workflows into efficient, user-centered experiences.
• Build and maintain front-end components using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with users, stakeholders, and development teams to gather requirements and improve application usability.
• Ensure applications meet usability standards, accessibility requirements, and responsive design best practices.
• Develop and maintain reusable design patterns, UI components, and style guides to promote consistency across applications.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Optimize front-end performance, scalability, and responsiveness across environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and peer reviews.
• Work closely with backend engineers, product owners, and system stakeholders to align user experience with mission requirements.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to successfully complete a polygraph examination.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, or related field and 4–8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree and 2–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing applications using modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated experience designing user-centered interfaces for complex web-based applications.
• Understanding of UX principles, usability, accessibility, and interaction design methodologies.
• Experience working in Linux-based environments.
• Ability to translate user needs and mission requirements into functional design solutions.
• Experience collaborating within Agile software development teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
• Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Experience designing and developing user interfaces for data-driven GEOINT or intelligence applications.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Grafana or similar platforms.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern software deployment practices.
