Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Junior Front End Developer, AI Applicationsto join our team in the Denver office. This onsite role is ideal for an early-career developer who is passionate about building intuitive, responsive user interfaces and has a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Pythonand JavaScript, along with familiarity in modern front-end and UI development tools such as PyQT, ReactJS, Dash, Streamlit, or other relevant frameworks. This position offers the opportunity to support the development of interactive applications that help translate complex technical and AI-driven capabilities into user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain front-end components for internal and client-facing applications
  • Collaborate with software engineers, AI/ML engineers, and product stakeholders to create intuitive user experiences
  • Build dashboards, visualizations, and interactive interfaces for data-driven and AI-enabled applications
  • Support integration of front-end applications with back-end services and APIs
  • Assist in developing desktop or web-based applications using tools such as ReactJS, Dash, Streamlit, or PyQT
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization efforts
  • Contribute to UI/UX improvements based on user feedback and project requirements
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and trends related to AI-enabled products

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • - (NOTE: Newly-hired MS graduates are typically hired into this level.)
  • - 2+ years of related professional experience.
  • Professional, internship, academic, or project-based experience in front-end or full-stack development
  • Working knowledge of Pythonand JavaScript
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: PyQT, ReactJS, Dash, Streamlit, or similar front-end frameworks
  • Understanding of basic AI/ML conceptsand interest in building interfaces for AI-driven applications
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
  • Ability to work onsite in the Parsons Denver office
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing dashboards, data visualization tools, or analytics interfaces
  • Exposure to REST APIs and integration between front-end and back-end systems
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Experience with UI/UX design tools or wireframing
  • Understanding of how users interact with AI systems and how to present outputs clearly and effectively
  • Internship or project experience supporting software applications in a team environment
  • Familiarity with perception, computer vision, or applied ML
