Job Description We are seeking a Full Stack Developer (Advanced) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in React, Spring Boot, microservices, Cassandra, CockroachDB, Kafka, and Kubernetes and a proven ability to design, build, and operate scalable, reliable services with measurable outcomes. This is a 6-month right-to-hire opportunity based on performance. Role is 80% backend, 20% frontend Responsibilities: Hands-on development of critical components, prototypes, and complex features with an 80% backend and 20% frontend focus. Establish coding standards, perform code reviews, and ensure automated test coverage, readability, and maintainability. Mentor and coach engineers, pair on design and coding, share best practices, and support onboarding. Drive delivery by breaking down work, estimating, managing dependencies, and meeting milestones with predictable execution. Own production reliability including monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventative improvements. Identify performance bottlenecks, optimize services, and meet latency, throughput, and SLA targets. Ensure secure design and implementation including authentication, authorization, secrets handling, and vulnerability management. Communicate tradeoffs, status, and risks across product, design, QA, operations, and leadership, and clarify requirements and priorities. Continuously improve engineering practices such as CI/CD, testing strategy, and release processes. Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solution designs, define APIs, data models, and integration patterns. Required Skills & Qualifications: Expertise in backend development with Java and Spring Boot, building and operating microservices. Frontend experience with React for building usable interfaces and component libraries. Proficiency with Apache Kafka for event streaming and messaging patterns. Hands-on experience with Cassandra and CockroachDB, including data modeling and performance tuning. Containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native tooling. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on reliability and scalability. Effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Experience level: 5+ years in relevant full stack or backend roles. Preferred Skills: Experience in high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
