Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Front End Developer for a contract opportunity with a large organization in downtown Kansas City, MO.
Responsibilities:
* Implement user interface designs provided by the UX designer, ensuring intended interactions, layout, and behavior are accurately reflected in the final product
* Partner with the UX designer, product owners and other developers to translate design concepts into high-quality, scalable front-end solutions
* Build and maintain reusable React components that support consistency across applications and align with emerging design patterns
* Contribute to the development of a shared component library to accelerate development and promote a unified user experience
* Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces that meet modern usability and accessibility standards
* Collaborate closely with developers and scrum masters within Agile/Scrum teams to ensure features are delivered effectively and meet business needs
* Provide input on design feasibility, technical constraints, and implementation trade-offs during the design and development process
* Support iterative design and development by refining implementations based on feedback, testing, and evolving requirements
* Assist in establishing and applying front-end development standards and best practices across applications
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of front-end development experience with React
* Experience working with a UX Designer and building component libraries from scratch
* Demonstrated experience implementing user interface designs from wireframes, mockups, or prototypes into production-ready code
* Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
* Experience building reusable components and contributing to a component-based architecture
* Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards, and usability best practices
* Experience collaborating closely with UX designers, product owners, and developers in an Agile/Scrum environment
* Ability to translate design requirements into scalable, maintainable front-end solutions
* Ability to work independently while supporting multiple applications and priorities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
