Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Angular Developer to serve as a technical anchor for the modern front-end implementation. This role designs complex application features and reusable components, leads front-end engineering practices, integrates with REST services, drives accessibility and automated unit testing, and mentors mid-level and junior developers.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Required Experience & Qualifications
7+ years of front-end development experience, including 4+ years of hands-on TypeScript and Angular experience.
Deep experience with Angular component architecture, RxJS, reactive forms, routing, services/dependency injection, state management, and application performance.
Experience integrating Angular applications with REST APIs and troubleshooting UI-to-middleware-to-database issues.
Experience modernizing or integrating with legacy Java/.NET or enterprise systems.
Experience writing unit tests using Jasmine/Karma, Jest, or equivalent and participating in CI/CD quality gates.
Hands-on experience implementing accessible interfaces aligned with Section 508/WCAG 2.1 AA.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement complex Angular features, reusable components, shared services, state-management patterns, and client-side validation.
Serve as senior front-end contributor and mentor mid-level and junior developers through design guidance, pairing, and code reviews.
Partner with the Technical Lead on UI architecture, API contracts, error handling, authentication integration, performance, and security boundaries.
Lead Angular version-upgrade planning, dependency management, deprecation remediation, and technical-debt reduction.
Implement responsive, accessible, browser-compatible user experiences and support accessibility remediation.
Write and maintain automated unit/component tests; ensure meaningful coverage for critical logic and regression-prone areas.
Troubleshoot complex integration, performance, rendering, state, and asynchronous-processing issues across application tiers.
Contribute to CI/CD readiness by maintaining build quality, linting, test execution, code quality, and dependency hygiene.
Document reusable patterns, implementation decisions, and front-end standards to improve consistency and sustainment.
Core Technical Skills
Expert in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, component architecture, and browser development tools.
NgRx or equivalent state-management patterns; REST API integration; asynchronous programming.
Unit/component testing, Git workflows, peer review, accessibility, responsive design, and front-end performance optimization.
Mentorship, technical troubleshooting, and clear design communication.
