Whether you're assisting with food orders, handling cash registers, your contribution will help create a lively and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their experience.
  • Operate POS system such as Toast to process sales accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
  • Support food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality and food safety standards are maintained.
  • Upsell menu items or products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly approach.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, including bussing tables and food handling.
  • Assist with food industry tasks such as serving customers, food safety compliance, and food industry best practices.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
  • Experience in food preparation, food handling, or serving in a restaurant or cafĂ© environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced environments efficiently.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques including upselling to enhance revenue opportunities.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
