Job Summary

Food Runners are essential to delivering a seamless dining experience. This role is responsible for ensuring that dishes are delivered promptly, accurately, and with attention to detail. Food Runners act as the critical link between the kitchen and the guest, maintaining the flow of service while upholding standards for presentation and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver food from the kitchen to guests with efficiency and urgency.
Confirm order accuracy and knowledge of all dish components before delivery.
Present dishes with confidence, using clear and informed communication.
Assist in communicating guest allergies, special requests, and modifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in expo and kitchen pass areas.
Help coordinate ticket flow and plate timing alongside the expo and kitchen teams.
Assist in resetting tables and supporting bussers and servers during busy shifts.
Maintain a strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens, and modifications.
Anticipate guest and team needs; stay alert and proactive.
Uphold safety and sanitation standards throughout service.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous food runner or support experience preferred.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to learn menu details quickly and communicate them clearly.
Must be able to lift and carry trays of food and move swiftly in a high-paced setting.
Must have (or obtain) a current Arizona Food Handlers Card.
Work Environment & Expectations
Maintain a clean, polished appearance and follow uniform standards.
Must be punctual, reliable, and team-focused.
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Take pride in plate presentation and guest experience.
Move with urgency, awareness, and a hospitality-first mindset.
