Job description

Datacurve is building the research and data infrastructure that powers frontier AI models. We're a fast-growing YC-backed startup working with some of the world's best AI researchers, engineers and operators.

We're looking for an exceptionally organized, resourceful, and proactive Operations Assistant who wants a front-row seat to building a startup from the ground up.

You'll work directly with the founders and core team to help operationalize processes, solve problems and be the teamโ€™s point person to tackle new challenges across finance, administration, and people logistics.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Operations at an early-stage startup means being empowered to take on any problem that may arise. In this role, you will:

  • Day to day operations: Manage office operations, including coordinating supplies and managing vendor relationships.
  • Event coordination: Assist with planning and execution for conferences and community facing events.
  • Recruiting and growth: Assist with candidate outreach and scheduling, onboarding new hires, and helping with marketing or special projects as needed.
  • Optimization: Spot bottlenecks in how we work and put better, cleaner processes in place.
  • Being the teamโ€™s go-to problem solver: Jump into whatever the team needs and โ€œmake it happenโ€, whether that's operations, recruiting, finance, community, or special projects.

Who You Are

  • Deeply interested in the AI space and eager to learn the inner workings of a fast-growing startup through hands-on experience.
  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects, people, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn, with the ability to navigate new tools and thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
  • A strategic thinker who takes initiative to solve complex operational challenges creatively.
  • A strong collaborator with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Why Join Datacurve?

  • Broad exposure to operations, recruiting, finance, community management, marketing, and company building.
  • Front-row seat to one of the fastest-moving AI startups.
  • Opportunity to start building an incredible network in the SF AI ecosystem.
  • Mentorship and support to grow into larger responsibilities.
  • Many of our strongest interns go on to become full-time team members.
  • Commute stipend, monthly fitness stipend, lunch and dinner provided daily

Requirement: In person in San Francisco, 5 days a week

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 annualized salary
