Dishwasher - Front Range
Reports to: Executive Chef
Job Category: Hourly Non-Exempt Full-Time & Part-Time
Salary Range: $16.00 to $19.50 per hour
Job Site: Foundry - Front Range (Broomfield)
Job Summary:
The dishwasher is responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organized, washing dishes, and setting up dish stations.
Education and Experience:
  • Entry level position.
  • Some kitchen experience preferred, but not required.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Valid, non-restricted Colorado driver's license.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to gain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations regarding safe food preparation required.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Cultural sensitivity.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Washes all dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and glasses by hand or in a dishwasher.
  • Puts clean dishes in cabinets, on shelves, or in other assigned storage areas.
  • Sets up dish machines, sinks, and other dish stations.
  • Cleans and sanitizes sinks, work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls, floors, trash receptacles, and other areas.
  • Maintains and operates cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Remains constantly aware of food safety procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to facility policies and procedures, State & Federal law, and accrediting agency regulations and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting, standing, reaching, bending, lifting, squatting, climbing stairs.
  • Seeing, hearing, speaking.
  • Prolonged standing and cleaning in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat and cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Driving in all weather conditions.
