About the Position
Under the supervision of the Executive Sous Chef, the Cook II involves intermediate food preparation skills, cooking tasks, and ensuring high-quality food production and execution. This position is responsible for daily food rotation, labeling, and maintaining the cleanliness of the entire kitchen.
Your Impact Will Include:
  • Prepare and portion ingredients for cooking, including fruits, vegetables, meats, and other items, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Perform basic cooking techniques such as boiling, frying, baking, grilling, and sautรฉing under kitchen supervision.
  • Train and support Cook I team members as directed by kitchen management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, prep areas, floors, and storage spaces.
  • Receive, label, and store food and supply deliveries properly, following stock rotation and food safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and smooth kitchen operations.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals safely, following PPE and waste disposal guidelines.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support our mission.

Where You'll Work
  • Primarily onsite at our facility
  • Requires use of standard office equipment including but not limited to computer-use, monitors/screen, desk, chair, etc.

  • Requires frequent use of hands for typing, handling equipment, and reaching
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, etc.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, or move objects up to 30 pounds
