Job description

Purpose and Impact:

Collect and transport classified waste material within the Washington Metropolitan area.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Essential Responsibilities:

Load, transport, and unload material.

Pull material from collection areas.

Maintain security in all designated areas.

Properly record weight and origin of classified waste.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Incumbents may work in conditions that require operating industrial machinery/power tools and motor vehicles. Additionally, incumbents may participate in work that requires walking, bending, squatting, and carrying materials throughout the facility. Workplace conditions necessitate following strict safety guidelines and the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Work tasks requiring the incumbent to lift weight more than 50 pounds requires two or more persons.
